This page shows some pictures of my tortoises. There are only a few pictures on here, but it gives you an idea of the quality of life they have with me. Many of the ones I have have been rescued and re homed from miserable, neglectful and even cruel lives. I have one that had his leg broken by his owners, I have one that was thrown from a moving car into a field of cattle and sustained head injuries, I have one that was frozen in hibernation and has brain damage as a result and I have many with mis shaped and lumpy shells having been kept on the wrong diets and in vivariums. I hope that seeing my tortoises, as happy and healthy as they are, evidences why it is so important to avoid the pet trade and avoid supporting cruel confined environments for creatures that like to roam, forage and bask in natural sunlight. please enjoy my pictures and email me if you have any questions, using the contact link.

This is a picture of Fennel, my little girl with brain damage, who has to have her food chopped finely but still manages to pack in some natural feeding.

This is Chive, thrown out of a moving car. He was lucky not to have lost his sight given the injuries he had to his face. Spotted by a caring member of the public, after lots of vetinary treatment, Chive made a full recovery.

Oak, Parsnip, Pumpkin & Ivy. part of a consignment of tortoises seized at heathrow airport and handed over to the tortoise trust for rehoming.
Fennel eating her shreded food, she is fed on her own to ensure she eats enough.

Moss, who had a broken leg and was cared for by the Tortoise Protection Group, before coming to me, here seen enjoying a radicchio treat.

Willow, was living in a 1.5 foot vivarium, on newspaper dumped in a back porch and forgotten about cus the children in the family had got bored with her. She had never been in a garden, now she is the first out and the last in each day! Seen here having been tucking into her favourite, cuttle fish bone.
